Erin and Noah hosted their vibrant and eclectic Winter wedding at INDUSTRY. The couple first met in college at Taylor University, but didn’t start dating until they ran into each other at a coffee shop years later. After that, the rest was history!
Fast-forward to their Sunday wedding; the laid-back couple primarily wanted to celebrate being married (awww!), and aimed to have the aesthetic reflect their unique style and personalities.
To make sure their vision came to life, Erin and Noah hired INDUSTRY Planning for month-of coordination. INDUSTRY Planner, Anjulie, helped wrap up the final details, set up their decor, and served as the main point of contact on their wedding day.
While Erin and her wedding party got ready in INDUSTRY’s client-ready room, one of her family friends arranged stunning jeweled-toned florals throughout the space, which provided rich pops of color against the natural industrial elements. The couple opted to use INDUSTRY’s in-house wooden hexagon arch for the ceremony altar, which looked incredible with the bright florals!
Guests were surprised with the cabaret-style ceremony seating since this isn’t a modern tradition, but it looked great and worked perfectly for Erin and Noah’s vision.
For the reception, the couple also utilized INDUSTRY’s copper pipe arch as a sign holder for their seating chart, which was put together by Erin’s father, using old records and fishing lines.
Chargers on the dinner tables were also repurposed old records and disco balls were hung from the rafters above the dance floor. This blend of retro and modern pieces added a nostalgic flair to the decor and created an unforgettable atmosphere for their special day.
The couple decided to have an alcohol-free wedding, and since they had reconnected in a coffee shop, they opted for a “coffee hour” in lieu of a cocktail hour! Red Dot Coffee Co. provided delicious beverages for their guests, and The Waffle Guy served scrumptious waffles as appetizers. Their guests loved this unique swap!
INDUSTRY Planner Anjulie commented “It was a hit! I’ll take coffee and waffles over alcohol any day!”
Despite it being a Sunday, guests danced the night away and eventually sent the couple off with a beautiful sparkler exit.
“The whole day was perfect and it was just what they wanted. That is always the best part,” said Anjulie.
