If you’ve ever met INDUSTRY bride Nora, it’s no secret that she loves Taylor Swift. So when it came time to plan her wedding, Nora knew that Taylor would be a part of her big day.
With their original wedding date being January 30, 2021, Nora and Connor sent Taylor a save the date, formal invitation, change the date, AND an invite to their new wedding date of January 29, 2022 (their one year anniversary!)
Taylor and her partner were even made escort cards for dinner, just in case they decided to show up!
Although the physical presence of Taylor Swift was absent, her vibrant spirit was certainly present. From a Taylor Swift-themed polaroid camera used for a photo guest book, to a “you and me forevermore” quote on the head table, Nora didn’t miss a beat.
Nora even said she had to limit herself to requesting four T-swift songs during the reception, but her guests certainly enjoyed every one!
On their original wedding date, Nora and Connor had an intimate ceremony with their closest friends and family at The Cake Bake Shop. When they were able to have their reception at INDUSTRY in January, guests enjoyed a recap video of their original ceremony, and then welcomed the bridal party in with cheers and applause. Their celebration had finally arrived!
From a delicious dinner catered by Ember Urban Eatery to a WOW cake from Princess Confections Bakery (topped with a T-Swift quote, of course), the night was full of good eats, joyful dancing, laughter, and lots of fun.
A note from INDUSTRY Planner Alisa: Nora and Connor were so patient and flexible through the planning process, even with COVID throwing a wrench in their plans, and it was my favorite part as their planner & coordinator to see their wedding finally come to life; the day that they’d been dreaming of for so long. Oh, and the way that Connor looked at Nora 🙂
