How to Secure Your Dream Wedding in Indianapolis

November 21, 2023

First off, congratulations on your recent engagement! The excitement is contagious, and we’re thrilled to be a part of this journey with you.

Undoubtedly, one of the first questions you’ve been asked, is “When’s the big day?” If you’re contemplating the timing of your Indianapolis wedding, particularly when to book a venue, we’ve prepared some insights just for you.

How Soon to Book a Wedding in Indianapolis?

The key factor in determining when to secure a wedding venue, is your desired wedding date and season. If you have a specific timeframe in mind—be it a particular season or date—consider how many months away it is. If your dream date is within the next 0-6 months, it’s best to book both a venue and a wedding planner sooner rather than later, to ensure a seamless process.

On the other hand, if you’re open to options, or have other significant life events on the horizon (such as starting a new job, completing school, or buying a house), a longer engagement might be preferable. Even if your wedding is a year or more away, we still recommend securing your venue and a wedding planner as soon as possible.

This early planning ensures that crucial elements are in place, and it increases the likelihood of getting your preferred date, venue, and vendors.
